Telehealth services (also known as teletherapy or remote therapy) enable clients to access therapy online using devices such as phones, tablets, and computers.

Your therapist will reach out to you via phone or video call (e.g. Microsoft Teams, Zoom, FaceTime) to carry out your therapy session instead of meeting in-person.
Some examples of things your therapist might do in a telehealth session:

-
Provide you with therapeutic strategies
-
Observe client and conduct assessments wherever possible
-
Provide activities and instructions
-
Provide demonstrations
-
Create a home/school/community program together
-
Use a range of online tools and software to support you in achieving your goals

As telehealth sessions do not require therapists to travel to appointments, you can access therapists beyond your local area. Telehealth also allows for greater flexibility in appointment times.
