The Sensory Profile™ helps you understand a child’s sensory processing patterns in everyday situations and profile the sensory system’s effect on functional performance for diagnostic and intervention planning.
Sensory processing is the term used to describe the constant organisation of sensory information that the brain receives. Difficulties with sensory processing often result in attention issues, learning difficulties, behavioural problems and emotional outbursts.
This process may involve completing the sensory profile and collaborating with clients and families to develop a sensory diet.
