Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) is an evidence-based therapy with a main goal of increasing a person’s quality of life and reducing the frequency and severity of behaviours of concern.

PBS recognises that a person's behaviours of concern (BOC) provide valuable information to us and serve a purpose. PBS practitioners collaborate with the client and families to identify the purpose of their behaviour, the reason behind it, and any unmet needs that they could be trying to fulfil. Since a person's environment can influence their BOC, we look at potential triggers and offer strategies and solutions to help reduce the BOC.
